Place: London, SW5

A young creative family based in Central London, SW5 are looking for calm; intelligent, experienced live in Housekeeper/Nanny  to help run their luxury home.
This is a wonderful opportunity to work in a great household. I placed the present Australian Housekeeper/Nanny who has been with the family for nearly 3 years and is very sadly leaving to go travelling.
The Housekeeper/Nanny needs to be confident and had previous experience looking after two school age children, 10 and 8 years, when the parents are away for short periods or at work as well as being comfortable working in a shared charge environment when the parents are around.
The position would suit someone with a ‘can do’ attitude, who is fun but able to gain the children's respect. Since this is a busy household you need to be happy working in a fast paced environment and have exceptional attention to detail and good organisational skills.  You need to be physically fit, a strong Swimmer  and able participate in recreational activities with the children.
The role will include cleaning, laundry, ironing of the children's rooms and clothes and general light housekeeping, organising wardrobes, shopping, running errands such as purchasing presents, returning items to shops and matching receipts to statements, organising outside contractors and cooking simple but healthy family meals.
A Daily Housekeeper and Handyman is also employed.
This role involves doing the school run, helping with homework, preparing a healthy supper, a bath and putting the children to bed.
The basic hours would be 7.30 am to 7.30pm Monday to Friday with a break in the middle of the day plus up to 3 nights babysitting when the parents are out of an evening Monday to Thursday. However flexibility is required if the Parent's are away the odd weekend or have an engagement at the weekend. Time off in lieu will be given for any weekend work.  The family have a home in the countryside that they visit most weekends.
Applicants should be happy looking after the house cat during the week but not weekends.
This is a non smoking household so please don't apply if you smoke.
Self contained accommodation with bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and own entrance will be provided.
Applicants must be fluent in spoken and written English so they can help with homework and ideally be an experienced driver with an EU licence.
Since you will be required to travel with the family during the school holidays (limited to 6 weeks a year) you must have an EU passport. Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years experience working as a Housekeeper/Nanny on a full time basis for at least one family in the UK and provide verifiable references for doing so.
The position is to start September 2022 and the salary on offer is according to experience.
If you are interested in this position and meet these criteria please send a copy of your CV making sure your relevant experience for this job is shown on the CV and copies of written references to me.
I will not consider candidates without verifiable written references. All applicants must have a visa/passport to work in the UK be based in the UK already and available to attend an interview with the agency in London before their details will be sent to the client. This position is only suitable for applicants who have a tax and NI number and can be employed on a Paye basis.
