MISSION
International Research Networks (IRN) is a young, dynamic, rapidly growing corporate events company based in Central London. We organize conferences specializing in the fields of Oil and Gas, Commodities Trading, Infrastructure and Construction and Space Commerce. Our clients include many of the world’s leading financial institutions, consultancies, utilities as well as regulatory bodies such as the European Commission and FSA. We are currently working with Ministries around the world, as well as partnering with organisations including NASA and several newspapers and TV channels.
We are looking for a full time intern for periods of between 4-6 months to join us IMMEDIATELY and gain a unique opportunity to work with the team and get exposure and experience in the exciting world of business events.
The work will involve a 360 view of the design work within an international event company: design of brochures, websites, adverts, logos, banners, etc. In close collaboration with the head of design. The successful applicant will also have the opportunity to work alongside the senior Directors at IRN.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Good design skills – Adobe Suite, In Design, Illustrator, and PhotoShop. Knowledge of SEO and HTML5 is an asset but not a must etc.
- English knowledge must be at an advanced level; speaking other languages is an advantage as we have clients around Europe
- Applicants are expected to have a real interest in the events sector
- You must be hardworking, creative, positive, and organised
- Able to work in an international and fast moving environment
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creating banners using PhotoShop
- Creating and updating brochures/post-event reports/venue information documents using InDesign
- Creating and updating websites using Wix
- Working closely with production to design the material for events
- Monitoring the printer supplies
- Prepare all the printing and online material for an event
SALARY
Travel expenses and lunches will be covered with excellent bonuses each month depending on achievement of set targets.
