April start for graduate Teaching Assistant in North London, the role will involve in class support, 1:1 and small group intervention work with 11-16 students within a mainstream secondary school environment. The students have a variety of needs but mainly you will be working with learners who struggle in the main school due to emotional and behavioural difficulties (BESD) and moderate learning difficulties. Other SEN needs you will be working with include mild autism (ASD) and Speech and Language difficulties. We are looking for an enthusiastic graduate Teaching Assistant with previous experience working with 11-16 year Olds to join the SEN team.

The school is a lively North London school easily commutable from in or outside of London. You will be joining a highly regarded secondary school that has been judged by Ofsted to be good in all areas. As a graduate Teaching Assistant within the SEN department, you will benefit from a warm and welcoming staff team who enjoy their job.

It is desirable that applicants for this graduate Teaching Assistant role hold a degree qualification or equivalent and considering to become a secondary school teacher in the future.
