Graduate Teaching Assistants Croydon - September 2022 start £65 - £85 per day depending on role and experience South London and surrounding area September 2022 start We are seeking several Graduate Teaching Assistants to fill a number of vacancies we have from September 2022.The roles will vary from full-time, long term jobs to part-time and ad-hoc daily supply roles. The role of a Teaching Assistant will be to assist the class teacher with the smooth running of the classroom. Helping prepare resources, assisting with groups to help all ability pupils engage. In some instances, you will also be working 1-2-1 with pupils of lower ability or have specific Special Needs requirements. A strong background in Maths and English, both written and verbal. The ideal candidates will either be educated to a degree level standard or have experience working with primary aged children as a Teaching Assistant or specific SEN experience. You will have good behaviour management skills and be adaptable and flexible to think fast and remain calm under pressure. You will also be pro-active and be a part of the whole school ethos. THE SCHOOLS:The schools we work with vary from small 1 form entry schools to large 5 form entry schools.In most cases the class size will be around 30 pupils.the schools may vary from Local Authority maintained schools, Academies, Independent and Free Schools.The standard of the schools we work with vary from outstanding schools to Inadequate.The ability of the pupils will vary so being able to differentiate would be beneficial.
