Goods Receiver - The Ned, New Opening POSITION: Goods Receiver REPORTING TO: Logistics Manager ROLE BASED: The Ned, Poultry, London Hotel Overview Originally a bank, the Grade-1 listed building has been developed and restored to hold 252 hotel bedrooms, twelve restaurants and bars, a member’s club, a gym, Cowshed spa and two swimming pools, as well as six dedicated event spaces. The Role The role is to assist the Purchasing department by organising the delivery, receiving, storage, and distribution of goods. In this role you will ensure that the right products are delivered to the right location on time. You may also be involved in transportation, stock control, warehousing and monitoring the flow of goods. What are We are looking for:To successfully fulfil this role you will have current or previous experience as a good receiver in a busy, high-end and complexed environment. You will also have:• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills (verbal, listening, writing).• Able to work alone and within a team.• Pro-active and reliable.• Exceptional customer service skills.• To consistently deliver the very highest of standards to ensure the department and hotel is represented accordingly.• Fluent in English.
