We’re looking for a Goods Receiver to join The Ivy Market Grill. • Receive deliveries, store perishables properly, and rotation of stock using HACCP, ensuring we are complying with all health and safety regulations by storing items in the correct manner.• To accept all deliveries and store them correctly, alerting the management team of any problems / missing items and contacting suppliers if necessary.• To ensure all items being received are of satisfactory quality and to query any discrepancies.• Maintain the paperwork and ensure this is taken and filed in line with our brand policy and company standards.• To complete general maintenance reviews and ensure fridge temperatures are complying with regulations.• To support the prep station team and the entire kitchen brigade when required.    Who are you?    You are:    • Current / previous experience working in a busy restaurant • A good communicator, exceptionally friendly and inclusive, even after a long shift  • A willingness to work in a supportive, structured environment • Ability to work on your own initiative calmly when under pressure • A commitment to ensuring hygiene standards are maintained• An understanding of receiving deliveries, storing perishables properly, and rotation of stock using FIFO    What’s in it for you?    As well as a chance to add one of the world’s most prestigious names to your CV, you’ll get:    • Top class training, before the job, and on the job    • Meals from our menu and discount in all our restaurants     • Lots of benefits including your uniform, childcare vouchers, cycle to work scheme, a recommend a friend scheme and savings on things like gym membership and cinema tickets     • A salary you’ll be hard pressed to beat       Where next:    With more restaurants opening next year, The Ivy Collection is your Oyster.
