Goods Receiver - The Ned, London
The Role:
The role is to assist the Purchasing department by organising the delivery, receiving, storage, and distribution of goods. In this role you will ensure that the right products are delivered to the right location on time. You may also be involved in transportation, stock control, warehousing and monitoring the flow of goods.
What are We are looking for:
To successfully fulfill this role you will have current or previous experience as a good receiver in a busy, high-end and complex environment.
You will also have:
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills (verbal, listening, writing)
• Able to work alone and within a team
• Pro-active and reliable
• Exceptional customer service skills
• To consistently deliver the very highest of standards to ensure the department and hotel is represented accordingly.
• Fluent in English.
Main Responsibilities
• Maintain the logistics of all goods inward on site, both physically and electronically.
• Plan vehicle routes during adhoc requirements from suppliers.
• Dealing with orders, deliveries, ensuring effective stock rotation.
• Assisting with stocktaking
• Ensuring cleanliness and proper presentation of all areas.
• Keep well informed of London events, or any holidays that may affect the delivery schedule.
• Maintain records of goods ordered and received.

Hosting 250 bedrooms, 10 restaurants, bars, a member’s club, Barber and Parlour, Ned’s Club Active and Relax, two swimming pools, along with six dedicated event spaces.
