About the Role
AJ and B require a Reliable, enthusiastic and experienced Delivery Manager to manage the daily delivery schedule of joinery items from workshops to site.  The role involves the driving of Luton and standard transit type vehicles from our yard to central London locations as well as to suppliers further afield, experience of driving in London is essential.  The role also includes liaising with project teams to ensure that deliveries are scheduled correctly.

Responsibilities including but not limited to.

Delivery schedule booking
Vehicle delivery driving
Loading and unloading of deliveries
Vehicle maintenance

Key tasks

Ensuring delivery schedule is maintained and daily updates sent out.
Ensuring safe delivery of expensive joinery items.
Ensuring other drivers are inducted when necessary.
Communicating with project and site teams.
Maintaining clean vehicles at all times
Ensuring delivery sheets are produced and signed off.
Daily vehicle checks

Requirements

Preferably 2 - 5 years proven experience in a similar role.
Clean, full UK driving license
Preferably qualified to degree level in relevant subject.
Preferably CSCS card holder
Organised and possess excellent management skills.
Strong communicator
Proficient in health and safety practices.
Computer literate on mac based systems
Ability to work in fast pace environment
