This is a temporary contract running initially for 6-8 weeks collecting information about highway drainage in Barking and Dagenham using tablet devices in the field. The work includes attending a specific location, photographing and reporting on the condition of highway drainage.
A candidate with experience of using data collection devices and smart phones would suit this position well. For those without this experience full training will be provided. Mileage expenses or travel costs will be paid where necessary. The candidate should also have a reasonable level of fitness as walking along the highway will be involved.
experience in the drainage industry will be useful but not essential.
Payment will be by hourly rate at £8.50 - £10.50 per hour. Any operational costs incurred as part of this role will also be fully reimbursable. This position is available to start immediately.
