We are the Oxfam Shop in green and fashionable Highgate selling clothes, homeware, Toys and much more to support Oxfam projects to fight against poverty… and we are looking for new volunteers!
If you are looking for a diverse and friendly team where to develop or enhance your retail and communication skills, whilst working to maximize fundraising for Oxfam projects, this is the right shop for you!
Morning or afternoons, weekdays or weekends, for as little as one shift per week (4 hours): EVERY SHIFT MAKES A DIFFERENCE!

Tasks involved:
• Receiving donations, sorting, valuing and pricing goods within our Clothing Department Identifying and valuing fashionable/ saleable goods from donated stock
• Identifying potential high value items for sale online, or through other channels Processing and pricing items within the shop price guidelines and policy
• Displaying items and replenishing in line with shop standards
Skills requires:
• No experience required, as full training provided, but volunteers must be dedicated, reliable, enthusiastic and willing to learn
• Ability to work within the shop guidelines and flexibility
• Reliability and ability to work as part of a team
• An interest in retail and fashion
• Some knowledge of brands would be helpful
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
This is a Voluntary role hence unpaid, local travel and lunch can be reimbursed in line with Oxfam policy.
