Giddy Grocer is a high-end independent grocery store selling carefully sourced, primarily British, products. We hold the traditions of an old-fashioned grocery store with artisan produce for the 21st century shopper. The store is designed to appeal to the residents of Bermondsey Street and surrounding areas but also the many visitors to the street as well as its many surrounding businesses. The area is of course renowned for it's foodie connections and our intentions here at Giddy Grocer is to provide an innovative addition to the food that is already on offer.
The following requirements are a must:
- Previous experience in a food and drink environment.
- Examples of excellent customer service skills.
- Great verbal communication skills.
- A passion for food and drink.
- Knowledge of seasonal British produce.
- Anyone with cheesemonger and/or charcuterie experience is a bonus.
- And lastly people who want to learn and develop with the company as we grow.
Above all we want a team of enthusiastic and friendly staff, who will engage with our customers and share our passion for great products.
The store is scheduled to open in the coming weeks so a start date as soon as possible is preferred.
