People are needed to take part in a research project to improve speech recognition technology. This comprises of making 12 short calls to a friend or family member, using a mobile phone. The calls are 4 and a half minutes long in duration, so the whole thing can be completed in one hour.
There's no script, so you literally get paid for having a chat on the phone and this will be used to improve speech recognition software using regional accents.
About the Task:
- The task involves participants making 12 short calls to a friend or family member, using a mobile and landline phone.
- Once they have successfully completed the calls and submitted a completion form, you will receive a payment of GBP £55.
Participant Requirements: (must meet all of the below)
- Each participant must be a fluent speaker of English, male and aged 18-30
- Each participant must have grown up in or be living in the Midlands or the South East of England (Greater London).
- Each participant must have access to a mobile and landline phone.
