We are a German/Canadian family looking for a nanny for our 2 children, a boy almost 3 and a girl,
9. The job is 4 days/week (not Wednesdays) from 12 - 6.30 plus babysitting one evening (minimum 30 hours/week, could be 34 if you prefer an extra morning from 8.30, he could do 3 mornings at nursery and one with you).
The job involves collecting the boy from nursery at 12, feeding him lunch, he has a sleep, then collecting his sister, aged 9, from school (soon she will walk on her own). Then feeding the children supper and playing until we get home.
German native speaker is essential (English is not necessary). experience with children and enjoying interaction with them is essential. Cooking for them is also important.
Some flexibility is essential for the days I need to work late.
The start date would be 4 September, with a few visits in July/August if possible to get to know the children.
I know there are many wonderful nannies in London but please do not apply if your mother tongue is not German.
