Geography Teacher Immediate/September 2022 start I work with two highly respected Secondary schools who are currently looking to secure Geography teachers for their Humanities departments. There are two roles available;- Geography Teacher in Southwark, South East London (to commence immediately or as soon as possible)- Geogrphy Teacher in Croydon, South East London (to commence in September 2022) Teacher Specification- Obtains current QTS- Capacity to plan and deliver the curriculum for KS3-5 students.- Previous experience teaching KS3-5 Geography to secondary students in UK schools- Have experience teaching students of varying SEN needs; capacity to demonstrate confidence in amending coursework as appropriate and monitoring students learning and progression- Demonstrate confidence with behavioural and classroom management School Details Both of these schools are co-educational, comprehensive secondary schools.- Southwark School: is a new school, delivering modern and innovative teaching methods/facilitaties to their students. The school currently has a strong focus on ensuring all students are educationally equipped to move onto higher education upon graduation. The school is centrally based, and therefore has numerous convenient means of public transport available (underground tube, buses, thameslink). - Croydon School: is a developing school, with a strong emphasis on raising the academic achievement levels of students. The school has smaller than average classroom sizes and a supportive leadership team. The school is easily accessible from main London rail stations, via Southern Rail services, and via local buses. Both schools offer their staff good services and perks, which will be discussed further at interview. Both experienced and NQT teachers' applications are welcomed.
