An exciting opportunity has arisen for a General Works Assistant, this will be on a 12-week temp to perm contract. You will be required to cover 7 care homes completing reactive and planned maintenance. You will be provided with a van.
Duties:
• Complete refurbishment works on care homes such as painting/ decorating and carpentry works
• Undertake general responsive and planned repair and maintenance duties
• Moving storage and furniture equipment
• Ensure that the usage and storage of chemicals is in accordance with COSHH regulations
• Use of facilities data systems daily to keep 100% up to date all record
You will be required to have:
• A full UK Driving license
• Technical awareness of facilities works included but not limited; Plumbing, Electricity, Heating, Carpentry.
