General Manager for Plant Based Restaurant

A very exciting new plant-based restaurant in Angel Islington is looking for a General Manager to spearhead the opening and establish a brand new iconic hospitality and wellbeing concept in London. This is a second restaurant opening of the Wild group which has been operating a reward-winning plant based eatery Wild Food Cafe in Covent Garden since 2011.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced general manager with an interest in plant based food and wellbeing-based hospitality. The right candidate will have a strong focus on innovation, solid experience managing financial targets, the right food vision, a feel for an outstanding company culture, and enlightened hospitality.

Minimum 5 years experience in hospitality management in a general manager role is a must.

This is a hands on and service related role where the successful candidate would be required to lead the team and train the team to deliver excellence on a daily basis.
Working alongside the Head Chef you will be responsible for driving the business forward and ensuring financial targets are met.
As a general manager, you'll be overseeing daily operations, ensuring a smooth and professional service, immaculate standards and a fun and proactive atmosphere. You'll be responsible for ensuring the fluent running of shifts throughout the week, alongside the rest of the management team. With savvy recruitment skills, exemplary training tactics, forward thinking and passionate outlook, you'll have a chance to grow and shine in this key role.

experience in supporting the seamless running of a restaurant by providing a highly efficient and effective service, ensuring standards are maintained and guest needs are anticipated.

We Offer:

Wage £25,000-£35,000 + performance bonuses to be negotiated.
