Shacklewell Arms, Dalston is recruiting a General Manager.
Dalstons famous back street music venue is currently recruiting a General Manager. You must have a passion for live music and experience managing a similar site.

General Manager – the role
As General Manager of the Shacklewell Arms you will be liaising closely with our in-house and external promoters and industry contacts. A good understanding of Dalston night life and what the Shacklewell Arms offers is essential.
As the Shacklewell is heavily ents lead and the in-house promotions team control the ents budget, it up to the General Manager to think outside the box and be creative on how to push wet and dry sales and take the business forward resulting in year on year growth.
You must be committed to your role, not afraid of hard Graft, long hours and late nights. Our General Managers are expected to lead their team on the front line, being present on the bar and available to help the promoter with any requests. This role is not suited to someone who likes to manage from an office!
What we look for in our General Managers:
• Personality, drive and ambition.
• Good understanding of P and Ls, Stocks, GPs, compliance.
• Ability to drive and implement changes
• Knowledge of the industry and how to provide the customer with an unforgettable experience.
• Great eye for detail
• Focus and experience with staff training and development and how to get the best out of your team.
