About the role
Located in the heart of London, you'll join a uniquely historical organisation that hosts a range of hospitality and public facing events.
Joining our staff restaurant team, you'll work front-of-house to serve meals for over 500 members of our team every day. You'll also work in the staff café, preparing hot drinks and snacks, taking payments and providing a friendly and helpful service to all your customers.
You'll clean equipment, assist with food preparation and displays and replenish stock, helping to make sure everything is ready for daily service.
Whether you're in London, or working from time-to-time at one of our other locations in the UK, you'll ensure all kitchens are presented to the same high standard.
About you
You might already have some relevant customer service or catering experience, but it's not essential as our excellent training will provide you with all the skills you need.
You’re a team player with good communication skills, happy to get involved, use initiative and work with your colleagues to achieve a smooth daily service.
You might already have a good working knowledge of Food Hygiene and Safety, but if not we'll organise training for you.
You'll travel to our other locations in the UK throughout the year, with accommodation and meals provided for this.
Above all, you're committed to a career in catering, keen to develop your skills and gain experience in an exceptional environment.
In return we offer an excellent salary and benefits package, which includes the option of accommodation and meals (for which there is a small salary adjustment), a supportive team atmosphere and training opportunities.
General Catering Assistant (15% employer contribution pension, and benefits)
