General Catering Assistant (casual contract)
£7.50 per hour (per hour worked)
Varying hours between
8am – 4pm (winter) 8am – 7pm (summer)

The Roehampton Cafe is a contemporary Café in Richmond Park, which Located near Richmond /Roehampton in Surrey it has a mixture of woods, gardens, ponds and grassland makes it a fantastic place to enjoy wildlife with roaming herds of Red and Fallow Deer, and is one of England’s finest parks serving freshly made food.
As a General Catering Assistant you will assist in the smooth and efficient running of the main café and the outside Kiosk.
Key Responsibilities
• serve food and operate the tills
• display all products to ensure sales are at the maximum at all times
• Promoting a friendly, efficient and effective relationship with staff.
• Ensure staff maintain standards of personal hygiene, dress and appearance as outlined in company policy.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the units at all times.
• Carry out open and close down procedures at sites.
• Cash handling
• Carry out cleaning tasks as required throughout the day and before leaving each day.

You must be able to communicate clearly in English (spoken and written) with customers and staff, and must be willing to undertake the appropriate training supplied by the company. You will have experience of working in a customer faced environment and have experience of serving and preparing food
As this is casual /zero hours position you need to be flexible with the hours you work and there is no guarantee of hours. You could be required to work anything between 0 hours to 46 hours per week, depending on the individual need of the kiosk. Approximate hours of work would be discussed with you by the recruiting manager.
You must be willing to work weekends, bank holidays and during the school holidays
