The Penn Club is looking to recruit a General Assistant to join our Housekeeping team. You will initially be cleaning guest bedrooms and public areas to a high standard. After a successful probationary period there is the chance to be trained to work in our Dining Room serving breakfast or in our kitchen cooking breakfast.
The position is part time. Flexible rotas working 3 days a week (including weekends). Shifts vary (7.30 - 13.30 or 9.00 - 15.00). 6 hours per day, 18 hours per week. Possibility of overtime to cover holidays.
Starting hourly rate is £8.38 per hour. Company contribute 6% towards workplace pension scheme. Company sick pay after 6 months service. 5.6 weeks holiday per year with allowance increasing with long service.
Good communication skills essential. We are a small friendly team and are looking for someone similar who will enhance the service we offer our guests. Must be responsible, able to work without much supervision and have good attention to detail.
