Gardener / Gardeners Assistant required.
Hello,
I run a small, friendly gardening company in SW London and require someone to join us in installing and maintaining private and communal gardens.
You will be working alongside me on a regular and ongoing basis.
We enjoy doing what we do and try to create a good working atmosphere with a focus on maintaining client relationships as well as our knowledge of garden development and plants.
Initially starting with 2-4 days a week depending on your availability, this can increase for the right candidate.
Flexible days are also available for people looking for part-time work and on an ad hoc basis.
The role will be varied and will include general gardening such as pruning, weeding and lawn care along with planting and some landscaping tasks where needed.
A positive approach to work is a must and you will need to fit the following to fill this role:
- Be interested in gardening.
- Polite, presentable and trustworthy.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Have good attention to detail.
- Physically fit.
- Happy to work outdoors in all weather when needed.
- Fluent in English.
A bonus if you have:
- Horticulture qualifications and /or training.
- Previous experience.
You WILL need your own safety boots and appropriate outdoor clothing.
You will be working on a sub-contract basis with good rates of pay dependent upon previous experience, skills and qualifications as well as suitability to the role.
