What's the role?
As Gamesmaker, you will be:
•Hosting - getting into character to host live escape games for diverse teams of 2-6 people ensuring a fantastic experience from the moment they step through our doors
•Welcoming - you will greet participants with a smile and while giving them a game briefing
•Preparing - you set up the escape room for each new game session and ensure all props are in proper working order
•Monitoring the CCTV of the teams whilst they are in the room - giving clues when necessary and making sure things are going smoothly
•Resetting the room when they leave - making sure that everything is put back in the right place and ready for the next team
•Cleaning - taking responsibility for the general upkeep and cleaning of the venue in between bookings to ensure that rooms are generally kept tidy and presentable
•Advocating - you will act as the face of the Company and be an ambassador for our brand, experience and merchandise. This will involve encouraging customers to leave reviews on Trip Advisor.
What are the important things I'll need?
•Bags of charisma! An outgoing and sociable personality that is welcoming to all customers
•A love and passion for games and puzzles
•Flexibility around working hours which will include weekdays, evenings and weekends.
•The ability to build good working relationships with team members and customers
•Some artistic, creative or handy skills will be a plus
•The ability to remain calm and friendly while under pressure in a fast paced environment
•Customer Service enthusiast
•Flexible and organised approach to tasks including administrative duties
•Reliable, hard-working and focused, with great attention to detail
•Comfortable conversing with customers from all over the world therefore fluency in English and a professional attitude are a must. Fluency in any other language is a plus
•A proactive nature - if you spot something wrong, you make it right!
