Lifewith Art is looking for a Gallery Manager to work in our Charity Arts Centre in New Malden - KT3. Amongst other things we will be holding photographic and art exhibitions in the building which will be open to the public. The Gallery Manager will take charge of opening the buildings to the public.
The Role:
You will be responsible for opening the building and turning off the security alarm. You must sit at the reception desk and sign in any Visitors to the Visitors Book. You will be responsible for locking the building up at the end of your session. You may read / study whilst you work.
Sessions:
This is a freelance role. Sessions are 2 hours long. You will run 2 sessions a a week, either on Mondays, Thursdays or Fridays, at a time which is mutually convenient for you and Lifewith Art. The arts centre is initially open from 24th October - 7th December but will be open at additional times in the future. Pay is £25 per session.
The person:
You must be responsible with excellent time keeping skills. You must be professional with a friendly and outgoing manner. You should have basic administrative skills allowing you to liaise with head office in a prompt and efficient manner.
