FUN au Pair in Leafy Wandsworth Vacancy

Posted: Today
Place: Clapham, London

We are looking for a fun, enthusiastic au pair to join our family of five in beautiful, leafy Wandsworth in London for one year starting in August. We have three lovely, fun children (G8, B6, G3). Both parents work full time and all the children are at the same school from 9am to 3.30pm each day.
Your main role will be to help with morning breakfast and getting the children ready and taking them to school which is a short walk away. You will then be free until they need to be collected from school at 3.30pm. The older two children are involved in various after school clubs which are well within 10 minutes walking distance of our home. They also love playdates and have lovely friends. You would also need to cook them a simple supper (they all eat a hot meal at school) and do bath time before parents are home. The children are very well behaved and are responsible and respectful.
We are looking for someone who loves spending time with children and helping them to grow, and will do things from kicking a football to arts and crafts. Having fun is the most important thing! We have a happy household with plenty of fun and laughter. We would ask you to do light housework, helping children to tidy after meals, doing only the children’s laundry, packing/unpacking the dishwasher, helping the children to tidy their Toys, homework etc.
Hours would be 7.30-9.30am and 3.30-7pm Monday to Friday, with up to 2 evenings of babysitting.
You will have your own room with bathroom, Wi-Fi and TV on the top floor of the house and we will pay £150 each week. We live very near the buzzy Northcote Road with its restaurants, bars, shopping and market. The area is known as ‘nappy valley’ because of so many young children and families, and therefore has a great network. Our home overlooks beautiful Clapham Common and has great transport links.
If you are energetic, enjoy the outdoors, are kind, thoughtful and have a positive outlook and feel we would be the right match for you please provide us with your CV and any further information about your experience working with children, including two good references. A driver's licence is helpful but not crucial.
