Full time live out nanny, belgravia, central london.
Main Objective
We are looking for a caring, fun, experienced and well educated Nanny to look after two children B4.5, G2. This is a sole charge role. The Nanny will provide ongoing care for the children, creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment in which the children can thrive and develop. The older boy is in full time school and the girl is in nursery 5 mornings per week.
Role Details
Location: Belgravia, Central London
Hours: Full Time Monday to Friday 7.00am – 7.00pm. Occasional weekend work and babysitting required and arranged in advance as overtime.
Salary: In the region of £12 net per hour.
Start Date: As soon as possible.
Responsibilities
Managing the morning routine, getting the children dressed, fed and ready for school and nursery.
Collecting the children from school/nursery or after school activities as necessary.
Arranging and undertaking appropriate creative, educational and outdoor activities with the children so they are entertained, happy and stimulated.
Cooking healthy, fresh and organic food for the children daily.
All nursery duties for both children including their daily ironing.
Children’s wardrobe organisation and management.
Supervising the implementation of age appropriate routines including rest, bed and nap times.
Supervising bath time.
Dressing children appropriate to the child's activities.
Shopping for children's requirements.
Reading to and with the children
Helping with homework and early phonics learning.
Tidying children's bedrooms and play areas keeping Toys clean and sanitised.
Reinforcing appropriate discipline for the children.
Running errands.
Ensuring appropriate mealtimes and balanced healthy feeding is adhered to.
Cleaning and washing up after children’s meals, ensuring the kitchen is clean and tidy.
Supervising play-dates.
Babysitting in the evening and potentially at the weekend when required by prior arrangement.
Candidate Requirements
Genuine love of children. We are looking for an experienced and talented Nanny.
experience working with similar age children with a stable CV that shows loyalty to previous families and success in roles to date.
You will be up-beat yet easy going, on the ball and naturally positive with a good level of self-awareness.
Used to working to impeccable standards of hygiene, cleanliness and tidiness at all times.
Excellent spoken and written English language skills, able to communicate with others and be able to help with homework.
Educated to University Degree Level.
Excellent Verifiable References
An up to date DBS check or willingness to have one.
Ability to travel with the family when required.
Legally able to work in the UK.
