We are now looking for Full Time Shop Assistant to join us. The ideal person must have a real flair and interest in our vast range of Spanish products, enjoy serving and talking to customers, have an interest in high quality food and cooking. Of course you must be reliable, enthusiastic and take pride in your work.
Key aspects of the job will be:
• To provide superior service to all our customers and demonstrate good product knowledge and show good presentation of range.
• Daily preparation of fresh foods including cheese, charcuterie and Hams to a high standard.
• To maintain counter displays, equipment and materials in a clean and safe condition.
• Merchandising-stock, displays and promotions.
If you can commit 40 hours per week, we would need you to work shifts during our opening times, Tuesday – Sunday between 10am – 6pm.
In return we are offering a competitive salary of £9.00 per hour, 40% staff discounts on most products, 5.6 weeks annual leave pro rata, training opportunities and a friendly working environment.
A flexible, capable person with a general can-do attitude will do well. Knowledge of Spanish Products desirable but not essential.
