The wedding galley café prides itself on British seasonal ingredients with accents of Europe and beyond, using only the finest produce. The wedding galley Café is the perfect location to enjoy Breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea.
The café is operated in by the wedding gallery in partnership with eat brit LTD who also operates an award winning restaurant in Mayfair and café within Harrods and a high volume event catering company.
Full time server required
To ensure the smooth operation of the Café by delivering excellent customer services at all time at a very busy high-end Café.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• To make sure that you are customer oriented at all times
• Ensure that all pre-opening work is carried out and that all areas are clean and ready for service
• Ensure that all seating areas are correctly set-up and that they are clean
• Keeps all work areas, fridges and cupboards stocked and cleaned
• Carries out all Store work as required e.g. Ordering, collecting stock, etc.
• Serving customers both courteously and efficiently in all areas
• Ensure all equipment is used as instructed and that wastage is kept to a minimum
• Handling cash, credit card transactions with extreme care and attention
• Reporting any Health and Safety hazards to the Supervisor / Manager
• Attend staff meetings as required
• Ensure that all glasses, crockery, cutlery are cleaned and polished
• Assist with food service and drinks service as required
• Clear tables as required
• To acknowledge any guest complaints and report these immediately to the Supervisor / Manager
• To carry out any reasonable requests made by management
Person Specification:
Essential Criteria :
• Significant experience working in a fresh food/restaurant/café/gastro pub
• Be a hard working person with a can do attitude
• Excellent level of communication in the English language
• Committed to providing excellent customer service
• Be passionate about real wholesome food
• Professional attitude
• Calm, patient and polite manner
• Flexibility
• Ability to work well within a team and also under own initiative
• Ability to manage workload unsupervised
• Committed to providing excellent customer care
• Clear speaking voice
• Willingness to adhere to The Wedding Gallery standards of exceptional personal grooming, representing The Wedding Gallery brand to the highest of standards
Desirable Criteria:
• NVQ qualifications (or equivalent) in Customer Service in Hospitality of Food Preparation will be an advantage

Job Type: Full-time
Salary : £8.00 per hour plus service charge.
Required experience:
• 2 years waiter/ess experience essential.
