Essential: experience with children with ADHD, global developmental delay, ODD.
Start Date: January 2022, live out
Days and Hours: Monday – Friday 10am - 7pm.
Simon aged 7 is an energetic character who enjoys football, cycling and other outdoor activities, Lego and playing with friends. Simon has ADHD and ODD, he is very smart and articulate but can present challenging behaviour.
Ben is 5, very sweet and affectionate. He has developmental delay but his speech is improving by day and he is enjoying reception. He loves Paw Patrol, cars, outdoor activities and his pets. Part of the family is a cute cat and a very friendly Vizsla, you must be an animal lover!
This is a busy household and we are looking for a level headed and organised nanny who can build a caring relationship with the children while setting up clear boundaries and routines. You will need extensive experience with children with ADHD, ODD and global developmental delay and be able to implement your skills into the daily routine to support with the management of Simon’s behaviour and be confident to introduce new strategies to help both boys to reach their full potential.
You will assist both boys with homework and help to set additional exercises to help with their learning. Cooking nutritious meals for the children and taking them to their after school activities are also part of your role. There will be some household duties to be carried out mostly when boys are at school.  You must be willing to help with the animals too.
This exciting position will suit a confident, energetic and sensitive SEN Nanny who has experience with children with challenging behaviour. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates with a background in Psychology, SEN or Occupational therapy.
