We are currently seeking an experienced receptionist for our busy West London based auction house.
Day to day you will be expected to carry out general reception duties, and you will be committed to providing a first-class service to existing and potential clients. You will be responsible for greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing visitors in a professional manner. You will also ensure that the private reception area is kept clean and tidy at all times.
You should be well-presented and maintain a professional appearance, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. A high standard of written and spoken English is essential for this role, but other foreign languages would be an advantage.
You must be accustomed to working under pressure, with the ability to multi-task and manage high workloads during busy periods. You will answer, screen and forward any incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed. You will also perform other clerical and admin duties such as filing and data input, taking payments and managing confidential client data. Tact and discretion are therefore essential.
