Full Time Private Chef for HNW Family

Role: Private Chef
Days: 5 days per week
Hours: 11am – 8pm
Salary:  £60,000 – £90,000 per annum
Location: St Johns Wood, London
A HNW Family in St Johns Wood require a full-time Private Chef to join their fully staffed household in St Johns Wood.
You will be required to work five days per week, 11am – 8pm.  On occasion the days and timings will vary depending on the family’s schedule. When the family are in residence additional hours may be required, with time off in lieu granted.
You will be working for a HNW couple and their two teenage children.
The salary offered for the position will be between £60,000 and £90,000 gross per annum dependent on experience, qualifications and skills.
You will be nutritionally focused with knowledge and experience cooking diverse range of cuisines, and accommodating specialist diets such as vegan and vegetarian.
You will be a qualified chef with 5 + years’ experience working within a private household, be knowledgeable about health trends and specialist diets, have an excellent attention to detail be adaptable, easygoing and possess a flexible attitude.
Interviewing now for a September start.
Daily duties will include;

Preparing and cooking nutritious hot and cold meals in the private residence.
Handling all meals for the Principal’s and other household staff.
Plan menus according to employers’ needs and diet restrictions.
Providing special dietary requirements where necessary and taking into account the preferences of each family member.
Meal plan and menu preparation according to Employers’ needs and diet restrictions.
Responsible for the organisation and cleanliness of kitchen.
Tend to daily requests made by the Principles.
Source and shop for local high quality ingredients.
Shop/order food, kitchen supplies and equipment.
Plan and prepare food for parties, holiday meals, luncheons, special functions, and other social events.
Overseeing and managing the kitchen
Pantry stock control and management
Direct the operation and organization of kitchens and all food-related activities, including the presentation and serving of food.
Travel with employers to vacation homes to provide meal preparation at those locations.

In order to be considered for this role you must;

Have a minimum of 5 + years’ experience working as a Chef within a private household.
Possess a relevant catering qualification – City and Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or NVQ.
Possess a Food Hygiene Certificate
Demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene.
Have excellent contactable references
Possess an up to date DBS
Be eligible to work in the UK
