Role: Private Chef
Days/Hours: Full-time
Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 gross per annum (dependent on experience)
Location: Knightsbridge, London
Start: as soon as possible
Seeking a full-time private Chef for a fully staffed residence in Knightsbridge, Central London.
This is a full-time position but you must be flexible regarding working hours, exact days and hours of work will vary depending on the family’s schedule. There will be busier periods when the family are in residence followed by down time.
For cultural reasons the family will only be considering female Chefs.
The salary offered will be dependent on experience.
You must be nutritionally focused and create healthy delicious meals for the family on a daily basis.
You will be a qualified chef with 5 + years’ experience working within a private household, be knowledgeable about health trends and specialist diets, have an excellent attention to detail be adaptable, easygoing and possess a flexible attitude.

Daily duties will include;

Preparing, cooking and serving of delicious and nutritious meals.
Ensuring all meals are of the highest possible quality and attractively presented.
Providing special dietary requirements where necessary and taking into account the preferences of each family member.
Meal plan and preparation
Tend to daily requests made by the Principals.
Source and shop for high quality ingredients.
Cater for family functions at the residence.
Overseeing and managing the kitchen
Pantry stock control and management

In order to be considered for this role you must;

Have a minimum of 5 + years’ experience working as a Chef within a private household.
Possess a relevant catering qualification – City and Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or NVQ.
Possess a Food Hygiene Certificate
Demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene.
Have excellent contactable references
Possess (or be willing to get) an up to date DBS check.
