Due to a recent expansion and rapidly increasing workload, Chiswick Auctions Ltd is seeking additional photographers to build on the existing team.
Chiswick Auctions Ltd is a well-established London based Auction house, offering both the trade and the public regular sales of Antiques, Collectables, Design, Art and Fashion.
In-house photographers undertake ALL photography and editing, whether it be for the fast-paced and fast-turnaround weekly General Interiors Sales, more in-depth and less frequent Specialist Sales or to satisfy the ever-growing demand for imaginative and well composed advertising shots for both social media and print campaigns.
Day-to-day, the photographer would be exposed to a huge number of unique, interesting and often very valuable objects and no two days are likely to ever be the same.
Required Skills:
• Proficient at undertaking studio-based 35mm digital catalogue/online photography.
• Proficient at using PhotoShop.
• Ability to work a good speed is an absolute must.
• Comfortable working in a busy and fast paced environment, sometimes alone with a set workload or sometimes under close instruction from specific specialists directing feature capture in real time.
• Comfortable working under fluctuating pressure/workload and able to adapt to a very fluid environment.
Additional bonus skills:
• An eye for graphic design and knowledge of InDesign.
• Strong vision for stand-out advertising shot composition.

This is a full-time position 5 days per week. Some weekend work and overtime may be required. Salary is £25,000 per annum plus a bonus (to be discussed at the interview stage).
