We are seeking a full time nanny to start in mid-September when I return to work. Flexibility and ability to work into the evenings is a must. experience with children at Isla's developmental stage a must. Wonderful enthusiasm and social skills also a must!
HOURS:
- Roughly 8am to 8pm and ability to stay later when necessary
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional weekend hours
- Reduced hours in a given week when me or my husband are not working long hours
***basically, flexibility is a must but pretty much guaranteed a minimum of 40 hours a week (except, obviously, when we are on holiday)***
DUTIES:
- Sole charge of our daughter (who will be 9 months old in September)
- Casual activities: walks in Richmond Park, playtime and reading at home, teaching language, counting etc. And encouraging achievement of physical milestones.
- Scheduled activities: swimming lessons, Baby Sensory, Monkey Music, play dates and other appointments
- Preparing healthy meals and continuing weaning programme
- Bathing and bedtime routine
- General household duties (we have a cleaner but just expect that you will do the same things I do at home while on maternity leave! Dishes, laundry, watering plants, tidying etc)
- Potential to nanny share (i.e. Have certain added responsibilities undefined at this time)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 1 year commitment
- Ofsted registered with accompanying credentials
- Driver's license and confident driver (use of our car is preferred - it is manual and you would be covered under our insurance)
- Non-smoker
- Relevant experience
- Excellent English and social skills
