Two boys aged 2.5 y and 1 y require an experienced and fun nanny, Monday to Friday from 7am to 7pm. You must have a recognised qualification at NVQ level 3 or above and either Ofsted registered or happy to obtain. A qualified first aider is also imperative as well as a recent DBS check or willing to do.
You must be happy to work under your own initiative and be proactive with a structured weekly routine. This would include a balance of clubs (playgroup, library, music and movement classes etc), outdoor play and time at home. They really enjoy craft/messy activities including painting, story/song time, exploring their own Toys, puzzles and individual play time for each child. There can be occasional use of the ipad for educational purposes. Bathing the boys and preparing them for bed is also ideal.
Calm and consistent discipline is required.
All food is prepared by the employers initially, with meals needing to be heated through. It would be useful for the nanny to take ownership of this role at a later stage.
Nursery duties are required and include keeping the playroom and bedrooms tidy. A cleaner comes to the home twice a week.
The family are keen to find a nanny who would also be happy to join them on occasional family holidays. These would be within the UK and abroad with non contracted hours ie; weekends paid for. Suitable notice would be provided for these adventures!
