Our lovely nanny/house keeper of 2 1/2 years is leaving us in August to go traveling. As such we are looking for a someone to join our happy family when she leaves.

About us
We are a happy family of 4 - Mum, Dad, Daughter (aged 5), son (aged 2 ½) and also a dog (black lab aged 6).  We live on the north side of Clapham Common, SW11
Our children are both bright, happy and healthy little people (…most of the time!).
Our daughter is at a local primary school and our son will be starting a pre-school nursery (3 hrs/day) in September. Both are within 10 minutes walk from our house.
Both Mum and Dad have demanding careers (Mum is an investment banker and Dad runs his own business).

The role
We are looking for someone to join us as a live-out nanny/house keeper.
The primary role will be providing sole charge of our children and dog while we are both at work.
This will include:
- Dropping off and picking up both children from school/nursery.
- Helping to organise and taking children to activities (playball, tennis, swimming etc)
- Walking the dog daily
- Assisting with homework
- Arranging children’ play dates with other mothers/nannies.
- Preparing varied, tasty and nutritious meals for the children.

We will also require you to assist with other basic household duties e.g.
- Family laundry
- Keeping the house clean and tidy
- Basic family errands e.g post office, picking up groceries, taking the dog to the vet/to be groomed,
- Receiving deliveries

The hours will be Monday to Friday 8am to 5.30pm.

We will also have an au pair providing wrap around supervision where required so requirement for additional hours or weekday babysitting will be limited although may be required in some instances.  Although rare, there may also be occasion for proxy parenting while both parents are away and potential travel with the family.

We will be looking for someone to join us mid to late August.

- Fluent English speaking/reading/writing.
- Punctual and reliable
- Clean and tidy
- Organized and with excellent communication skills.
- Must have previous experience of sole care of young children (5 years +)
- Energetic, active and healthy
- Non smoker
- UK passport or visa allowing you to work in the UK.
- Clean drivers license
- Current qualification in first aid
- Clean DBS check
