My husband and I are looking for a nanny to join our happy family from the beginning of January 2022 to look after our two children. We are ideally looking for a full time live IN permanent nanny but would be willing to consider a live OUT position for the right candidate.

YOU:
We are looking for a full-time nanny (Live IN 7am until 7pm Monday to Friday (60 hours); Live OUT 7.30am until 7pm (57.5 hours) – hours to be fine-tuned as we may end up needing until 6.30pm instead of 7pm) who is punctual, energetic, friendly, outgoing and capable of taking sole charge of the two children. You must have plenty of common sense and be able to take the initiative in setting developmental goals and activities. You should be kind and like to have fun! You must have sole charge experience of young babies and toddlers, sound knowledge of the English language, and relevant passport and visa requirements.
If the position is live IN, we would also request 2 nights of babysitting during the week (may not always use).
We offer good (new) accommodation with your own room and bathroom, with TV/WIFI on the top floor.
US:
We are an English family based between Lavender Hill and Battersea Rise, 3 minutes’ walk from Clapham Junction and very close to Clapham Common/Wandsworth Common (and Battersea Park). Please note that our son will be at a local nursery every morning (8.40am – 12 noon) and on Mondays and Wednesdays until 3pm. From September 2022, our son will be at a local school (c. 15 Mins walk) five days a week (8.10amish to 3.30pmish – timing / school tbc). We both work full-time in demanding jobs.
DUTIES:
• Sole care of a toddler and a baby
• Taking the toddler to and from nursery and other activities (playball, swimming, ballet, playgroups, walks etc) and arranging play dates, as well as stimulating the baby at home / in playgroups etc.
• Cooking fresh and healthy homemade meals for the children
• Light housework duties (we do have a cleaner) such as: helping with the laundry, light hoovering, unloading the dishwasher etc, and running the occasional errand e.g. Picking up dry cleaning, going to the post office. We like the house to be tidy at the end of the day
• Helping parents with any required preparation for nursery (e.g. Show and tell, ensuring clothing is clean, preparing packed lunches)
ROLE:
• Full time nanny position from Monday to Friday
• Potential extra hourly pay for evening babysitting
• (Potential) occasional travel with family on holidays
REQUIREMENTS:
• 3 + years’ experience
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• OFSTED registered ideally
• Current CRB
• Current First Aid
• Familiar with Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and incorporates this into daily activities
• Clean driver’s license (preferable)
• Passport holder with right to work in UK
• Ideally live locally (for live OUT position)
• Non-smoker
• Non-vegetarian (preferable)
