We are looking for an experienced sole charge Live-in Nanny to assist a lovely family of four in their home who have a three year old son and six month old daughter. The Principals both work and so require an attentive, responsible and energetic Nanny with previous experience of having sole charge and will be proactive. You will be responsible for planning daily activities to encourage the children’s development, pre-school learning and keep them engaged and happy. The son currently goes to a local nursery two days a week so nursery runs will be required.
The role will include cooking healthy, fresh family meals to a high standard, mainly for the children but sometimes for the family as a whole. You will be responsible for all nursery duties such as clearing up after the children and baby and ensuring their rooms and play areas are clean and tidy at all times. You will be required to do the family laundry and work alongside a weekly cleaner.
The family expect a Nanny to travel with them abroad on family holidays several times a year.
Requirements:
• 3 + years Private Nanny experience
• experience of having lived with a family before
• Strong relevant experience with similar ages
• Proven knowledge and experience of EYFS teaching
• Fluent English with good communication skills
• Any other language skills are a bonus
• Positive, caring and proactive personality
• Reliable and dependable
• Clean DBS check or willing to have one undertaken
• Excellent checkable references
• Happy to travel with the family – British or EU passport preferred for ease of travel with family
• Driver not needed
• Non-smoker
