We are a busy professional couple looking for a full-time Mandarin-speaking nanny (non-driver) to care for our baby girl who will be 7 months from mid-late March when the mother returns to work. Both parents speak Mandarin as well as English and we would like our daughter to grow up in a bilingual environment.
We are looking for someone whom we can trust to work with our family for a minimum of 18 months, who have sole-charge experience in caring for children in this age group and who can work independently as well as with family members (shared-charge with baby’s grandmother over the summer months).
We live in a 3-bedroom flat in Hampstead, with easy walking distance to both Hampstead village and Finchley road. The flat is on the 2nd floor of a house, but the buggy is conveniently stored in our car parked right outside the house.
Duties:

All nursery duties, including preparing healthy and nutritious meals for the baby, organizing stimulating and educational activities indoors and outdoors (including playgroups), washing/ironing baby’s clothes, ensuring tidiness of child’s play area and bedroom, and bath/bed routine. Some light housekeeping duties (loading/unloading dishwasher, light tidying up, some local errands) would be helpful though we employ a regular cleaner.
Hours: full time Monday – Friday, 11-12 hours a day (7-8am to ~7pm); slightly reduced hours (~9-10 hours) when sharing charge with baby’s grandmother over the summer (May – August); there will be occasional evening/weekend babysitting opportunities.

Salary:

£10-12 Net per hour, depending on experience.

First aid qualified, DBS compliant
