Our private client in Belsize park is recruiting an experienced Live out / Live in Nanny / Family Assistant. (someone living locally or otherwise family will be happy to organise accommodation nearby)
5 days a week and school holidays
Hours 7.30am - 7pm
Confident London driver is require
2 x boys at full time school aged 5 and 10 years old. (the youngest has serious nut allergy.)
The position is in 2 countries UK and France.
School holidays in France
House has full time housekeeper.
Duties:
During term-time the job is childcare before and after school for Dylan and Archie.
Before school helping organise the kid’s day, making packed lunch. Getting uniform and school bags ready. Doing school run.
After school the job is collecting kids from school, doing homework with them.
Taking to and hosting playdates.
Taking to football practice.
Preparing meals (share this role with housekeeper)
Supervising homework, 11 + invigilating and checking homework. Supervising music practice.
Needs to be a sporty active person. Happy to play football with the kids in the park or garden.
While kids are at school, the family assistant work includes tasks such as organising, uniform, school kit, liaising with school and renewing kids clubs and activities, kids parties.
Cleaning and tidying kids rooms.
Household errands i.e. The post office, hardware store, supermarket, bookshop etc
Being able to liaise with tradesmen
Interacting with other staff in a professional and friendly manner
Remembering special occasions like Bdays, anniversaries etc. Buying gifts,
During school holidays role is more traditional nannying.
Applicant would need to expect to be in France most school holidays and for 4-5 weeks in August.
