Housekeeper Required - Immediate Start
A small hotel in Camden Town (NW1) is looking for a chambermaid to join our friendly team on a full-time basis as soon as possible
This is a position for a driven, reliable, hardworking individual, who is self-motivated and has great attention to detail.
Full training will be provided, although relevant experience is an advantage.
The duties include:
• Making beds, cleaning rooms and bathrooms
• Following a step by step approach to make sure every room is set to the highest standard
• Making rooms ready in time for guest’s check-in
• Ensuring excellent levels of cleanliness are consistent throughout the hotel in all areas
• Following appropriate fire, health and safety rules and regulations
• Working with the whole team to deliver the best experience to all our guests
• Reporting to the hotel manager
A successful candidate will:
• Be reliable and flexible
• Have a basic understanding of English language and will be able to communicate effectively with the team and guests
• Have a ‘can do-attitude’
• Be available to work 6 days a week, including weekends, dependant on business needs
• Be able to work under pressure in a busy environment
• Perform well both in their own capacity as well as a part of the team
• Always put the customer at the heart of everything they do
• Always show great attention to detail
We offer:
• National Minimum Wage, 35 hours a week on average
• Holiday entitlement, based on hours worked
• Staff discount on food and beverage in our Lounge and the Hotel
