Fun, independent, busy hostel seeks new team members
An opportunity has arisen to General manage our Kings Cross Home London Hostel. The hostel is located in the heart of london. We are a 140 bed hostel (spread over 20 rooms).
You:
• Ensure excellent customer service is maintained at all times
• Achieve 5 star standards of cleanliness
• Drive sales opportunities and controll pricing and expenses
• Manage, develope and motivate all employees
• Continually seek areas for improvement to the overall products and service within the hostel
• Proactively review and respond to customer feedback
• Ensure the maintenance of the building remain to the highest possible standard
• Are responsible for organizing all processes in the Hostel and Bar
• Have Human Resources experience
• Demonstrate previous management experience within the hospitality industry / hotel / hostel industry
• Show previous experience of managing, developing and motivating others
• Analyse prices daily to push revenue
• Able to work flexible hours and be on call
We want:
• UK resident
• Bar/Hostel management experience
• Full clean driving license
• Personal licence
• experience in management of small teams, including personnel development
• Knowledge of accounting
• Team player and flexibility
• Someone who does not mind getting their hands dirty
