HIRING// Passionate Manager with Barista skills to run a busy South West London Café
The Putney Pantry is looking for a motivated and passionate manager to run the busy café on Putney High street. Attached to the iconic St. Marys Church, the café is an integral part of the community and serves the Church, families, local business and tourists. A busy little hub serving homemade food and artisan coffee, we want to improve our coffee offering, push daily sales and our external catering.
We are looking for active manager to run the daily operations of the business, work closely with the owner to grow the business and motivate the team. We want a front of house character that will become the face of the business, building strong relationships with customers and foster the local, community vibe.
You must have:
• Impeccable spoken and written English
• At least 2 year manager experience in a similar environment
• At least 1 years Barista experience
• Be able to work weekends
• Be over 25
• Barista knowledge (we will give additional training)
• A positive and professional attitude
• Exceptional customer service skills and great attention to detail
We offer;
• £9.00ph starting salary - £9.50 after 1 month probation period
• Bonus incentive scheme linked to sales
• Training and support
This will be an exciting role for the right candidate that wishes to really impact on a business, grow sales and take ownership of the role.
