Full Time Experienced Assistant Butchery Manager Required.
You will be joining a high class quality butcher providing finest pure-bred meats from our own farm.  We are growing and expanding and now looking for an Assistant Manager to join our team.
The Job:
·         To assist the Manager in the day to day running of the unit, ensuring all orders are processed and dispatched in an efficient and timely manner.
·         Run the unit in the Manager’s absence and ensure staff rotas are up to date and sufficient cover is available, especially in the busy periods.
·         Must lead by example and be prepared to pitch in and cover for all eventualities.
·         Good communication and leadership skills will be required.
This is a hands on practical role as well so you will need to ‘roll’ up your sleeves and be able to carry out the following duties as a butcher/cutter:
·         Sausage Making
·         Portion Controlled Cutting for Catering.
·         Packing goods for delivery
·         Cleaning
The Person we are looking for will have:
Good communication and leadership skills
experience in Butchery/Portion Controlled Cutting.
Full Clean Driving Licence
Punctual
Fluent in English
45 Hrs per week, 6 days per week
Salary dependant on experience
