The Earl of Essex in Islington is seeking a full-time duty manager or supervisor to join the team. The pub is a well-known local with a fantastic beer selection and a hearty British food menu.
We are part of the Grace Land group. We are fast growing, having opened two new sites in the last 18 months, with another set to open by the end of the year. We are always on the lookout for candidates who would like to grow and develop within our company.

A working knowledge or interest in craft beer.
Excellent customer service skills, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere for customers.
The confidence and ability to work in a busy environment.
experience in the day-to-day running of bar and floor.
Ability to train other members of the team and ensure our service procedures are maintained.
Good knowledge of drinks products with both the enthusiasm to learn more, and the ability to teach others.
Ensuring consistency in drinks service and presentation.
Cellar management and beer line cleaning experience.
The strength and ability to take deliveries.
Computer literacy.
The right to live and work in the UK.
