Job duties
Picking and packing for dispatch in an accurate and efficient manner;
Handling of goods coming in, ensuring accuracy of deliveries and appropriate storage of products;
Unloading containers in line with Health and Safety directives and guidelines;
Warehouse housekeeping and stock rotation in line with company procedures and processes;
Liaising with sales staff to ensure efficient planning and delivery of orders via courier;
Occasional driving to wholesale customers and retail customers;
May involve some heavy lifting occasionally.
Qualifications/ experience:
Applicants must have at least 1-year previous experience working in a warehouse. Grades A-C in GCSE Maths and English or equivalent. Must have a valid UK driving license and forklift license would be desirable. Some previous experience with picking and packing high volume orders. Able to work within a team environment and achieve company set targets.
Other information:
Wages will be paid monthly by BACS. Overtime work may be available and applicants must have a flexible approach for shift patterns. Applicants must be 25 + due to experience required. There will be 20 days annual leave plus paid bank holidays.
Wage: £9.58/hour
