Full –Time Chef Required at The Tram Stop, Croydon
We are an independent, family run café based in Addiscombe, Croydon. We offer breakfast, lunch, homemade cakes and coffee for our customers and have built up a successful business, winning the Time Out Love London award for best Café in Croydon in 2021. Our food is freshly made, using high quality ingredients and we have established ourselves with a reputation for excellent food and cakes.
We are looking for a full-time permanent chef to join our team to work in our kitchen. You will need to be motivated, enthusiastic, passionate about food and focused on our customers’ needs, producing quality plates of food, especially at busy times.
You will work independently in the kitchen and work efficiently in a fast paced environment, working with the managers and front of house staff to prep and run an efficient service.
You will be responsible for maintaining the health and hygiene of the kitchen. You will work with the managers to maintain stock levels and order food. You will have responsibility for creating new dishes and developing the menus.
Our Requirements:
At least 1 year’s experience in a similar environment.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing food of the highest quality.
Excellent communication and team working skills.
The ability to work independently and manage your own time.
Strong work ethic
Fluent English
