London based company is currently looking for an experienced Business Development/Sales Manager. The role will focus on developing sales with existing and prospective customers within UK.
Essential requirements - the candidate must have:
- ideally two years sales experience in LED lighting or related product industry
- established network of electrical wholesalers in the given territory
- knowledge and expertise in various electrical products
- proficient field sales experience and promotion skills
- demonstrable field sales track record of selling through distribution
Candidate key attributes:
- highly motivated by targets and achieving set goals
- delivering accurate and high-quality work in a client focused environment
- ability to plan and organise workload and meet deadlines
- work effectively with other areas of the company
- smart appearance that projects a professional image
- engaging, confident and charismatic personality
- excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- good written skills to produce professional reports and quotes
- competence in computer use: word, excel and outlook
- willingness to be flexible regarding start and finish times to meet particular tasks occasionally
- driving licence category B
- Polish language knowledge is a bonus but not essential
Key responsibilities:
- improve sales experience of existing customers
- develop new accounts and in-depth relationship with our key clients
- generate your own appointments
- develop quotations based on identified sales strategies
- follow up on any enquiries in a timely manner
- achieve assigned revenue target
- stay up-to-date with all new products
- provide technical advice and information as requested
- complete, maintain, update sales data base and produce relevant reports as requested
- comply with company policies and health and safety procedures
