Dan and Decarlo is a coffee shop based in the heart of East Finchley, opposite a commuting hotspot. We currently require the support of a Full time Kitchen Assistant/Cook, who can be immediately available, to join our fast pace team.
The ideal candidate firstly will need to have the minimum of 1 year experience working in a kitchen or similar environment and must hold a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate, as health and hygiene is our top priority at D and D. Confident, hardworking and the ability to work and gel with our current team are skills that we 100% require.
They must be passionate and confident when dealing with food and be able to present fresh ideas for new menu’s. Daily duties will include making made to order breakfast’s – i.e. Poached eggs, smashed avocado, granola bowls, pancakes etc. Then be able to cope with the busy lunch time rush of making sandwiches, wraps and healthy salads. Every dish we serve must be presented to the highest standard, which we take great pride in. Other duties will include ordering stock, receiving food deliveries and controlling stock wastage.
