Social Coffee Co is a cafe and deli situated in the co-working space of the Finsbury Business Centre, 40 Bowling Green Lane. We serve specialty coffee from Allpress, homemade cakes and a fresh, seasonal breakfast and lunch menu- all to take away. We are a small team but looking to expand the catering side of our business, so are on the hunt for an enthusiastic all-rounder to join us.

Our ideal applicant will:

-Coffee enthusiast and champion behind the coffee machine.
-Great social skills! Personality is a huge factor for us, if not the most important trait we are looking for. “Next please” is not in our vocabulary!
-Good language skills and customer service with the desire to learn!
-Fluent English is quite important to the roll.
-Love specialty coffee like we do! Coffee experience is essential and we also  provide training to get familiar with the brand of coffee we use, Allpress.
-Have a positive attitude and be able to use their initiative to solve problems on the go.

Responsibilities include:

-Making great coffee and serving food from a deli counter.
-Replenishing stock, keeping all food and drink displays looking plentiful.
-Taking orders and payments over the counter.
-Clearing tables
-Delivering catering orders to offices within the building.

We are currently looking for someone to work full time (no weekends). Working hours may vary but will usually be from 7am-5pm. Optional overtime when we have evening functions and there may be a part time position for the right candidate.

We will provide all necessary training, free staff lunch and all the coffee you can drink!
