Full Time Assistant Caretaker - £18,000 per year
Holiday Entitlement: 25 days + Bank Holidays
The Archbishop Lanfranc Academy opened in September 2014 as part of The Coloma Trust, a sponsoring charity with the lead sponsor being Coloma Convent Girls’ School.
We are looking to recruit an Assistant Caretaker for a busy secondary school required from August/September 2022. The buildings are Let out of hours, 7 days a week, and all members of the site team work 5 x 8 hour shifts over a 7 day week on rotation. Evening and weekend work is required as is a full Car Driving Licence to enable the postholder to drive the minibus. Some experience in a similar or related role would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided.
Overall responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
To assist in making the Academy a clean, healthy and safe environment and assist in maintaining and developing the Academy premises and grounds. Ensuring that the Academy is open, prepared and staffed for all Academy activities and agreed lettings. Assist with the movement of Academy furniture for Parents Evenings, lets and other events. Clean designated areas of the Academy whilst providing porterage provision for members of staff.
